Donald L. Murdock Building
Located at 4111 Round Lake Highway, Station 3—commonly known as the Lake Station—has proudly served the Devils Lake, Round Lake, and surrounding communities since opening its doors in 2004. The establishment of Station 3 represented an important investment in public safety for the lakes area, providing a strategically located facility from which fire, emergency medical, and water rescue services can quickly respond to residents and visitors throughout the community.
A Legacy of Community Support
Station 3 would not have become a reality without the generosity and commitment of those who believed in strengthening emergency services within our community. The members of Addison Fire & EMS, along with the community we serve, proudly recognize and extend our sincere appreciation to Donald L. Murdock for his extraordinary generosity and support in helping make the construction of Station 3 possible.
Mr. Murdock's contribution helped provide a lasting resource for the community—one that continues to support firefighters, EMS personnel, and emergency operations more than two decades later. His generosity remains an important part of the history and legacy of Station 3.
Serving the Community 24 Hours a Day
Station 3 is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by an EMS crew, providing around-the-clock Advanced Life Support emergency medical response to the community. In addition to its EMS mission, the station serves as an important response point for fire suppression, brush and wildland incidents, water emergencies, and other public safety needs throughout the lakes area.

Protecting Our Lakes Community
The Devils Lake and Round Lake communities are unique places to live, work, and visit. With significant recreational activity on and around the lakes—particularly during the summer months—Station 3's location allows our personnel to provide timely emergency response to both land- and water-based incidents.
From medical emergencies and structure fires to boating incidents and water rescues, the personnel and equipment assigned to Station 3 help ensure that specialized emergency services are readily available when our community needs them most.
For more than 20 years, Station 3 has stood as a reflection of the partnership between Addison Fire & EMS and the community we proudly serve—a partnership built upon service, preparedness, and a commitment to protecting our neighbors.
